San Cassiano, 1538 m

San Cassiano at the foot of the majestic walls of three mountains: Conturines, La Varella and Lagazuoi, boasts a rich tradition of four and five-star hospitality and gourmet restaurants. San Cassiano also offers a pedestrian zone with hotels, shops, cafés, a tourist information office and a quaint museum of Ladin history.

A modern gondola (transport capacity of 3000 people/hr) links San Cassiano to the ski circuit between Corvara and La Villa, in which one is also able to reach the Sellaronda. The first ski lift in San Cassiano (07.03.1963)

The breathtaking location of Armenterola, and its spacious campgrounds, provides an ideal location for peaceful walks though verdant meadows in the summer. A cross-country skiing center in the winter also makes it a paradise for cross-country skiers.

San Cassiano (San Ćiascian is the local Ladin language) has 895 inhabitants and with accommodations for 4040 visitors.

San Cassiano is only 4.5 km from La Villa.
