Alta Badia and surroundings: Pusteria Valley
Photo of the picturesque Anterselva Lake
Pusteria and Isarco Valleys:
The Pusteria Valley is located in the northeastern Dolomites between Isarco Valley and Lienz. The main towns of Pusteria are Brunico (with neighboring villages of Riscone and Falzes), Campo Tures in Valle Aurina, Valdaora, Anterselva, Dobbiaco and Sesto Pusteria. The main towns and cities of Isarco are Bressanone, Chiusa, Ponte Gardena and Bolzano.

Alta Badia is ideally positioned for outings to these fascinating locations. Distance from Alta Badia to Brunico (Pusteria Valley) is about 30 km, 30 minutes by car.

The Pusteria Valley has many beautiful lakes: Lake Braies with its intense emerald color, Dobbiaco and Anterselva lakes, and the little lake of Issengo next to Falzes.
Tour Misurina - Tre Cime di Lavaredo The Tre Cime di Lavaredo can be reached easily by once again continuing through San Cassiano, the Falzarego Pass, then on to Cortina and Lago di Misurina (La Villa to Lago di Misurina is 1.5 hours). Parking is available at Auronzo rifugio (2320 m), and offers a departure point in an area of unspoiled beauty (a section of the road to Auronzo requires a toll).
