Alta Badia and surroundings: Canazei – Fassa Valley
| |

Fassa Valley and the Trentino Dolomites
The famous mountain peaks of Marmolada, Sella, Catinaccio and Sassolungo surround the Fassa Valley. The main resort towns of the Fassa Vally are Canazei (with the peaceful villages of Alba and Penia nearby), Campitello, Mazzin, Pozza di Fassa, Vigo di Fassa, Soraga and Moena.
|
The Sella Circuit A circular tour by car or bicycle along the four famous passes in the Dolomites: Pordoi, Campolongo, Gardena and Sella. This spectacular stretch (53 km) completed around the mountainous Sella group is one of the most well known roads of the Dolomites.
|
The terrace of the Dolomites One of the most significant peaks of the Sella is Sass Pordoi (2.950 m) with an excellent viewpoint from the Maria rifugio. From the rifugio’s terrace, the grandness of the Dolomites dominates the view. The peaks of Antelao, Pelmo, Civetta, Marmolada (queen of the Dolomites), Gran Vernel, Pale di S.Martino - Costabella, Lagorai, Latemar and Catinaccio are particularly striking.
| |
 |
The Fassa Valley can be reached from the Badia Valley (passing through Corvara, Arabba, and the Pordoi Pass), from the Gardena Valley (by the Sella Pass) or from the Fiemme Valley (Predazzo – Ora).

Winter An outstanding winter sport center with Belvedere, Ciampac, Col Rodella and Marmolada, the most current ski lift systems, and associated with Dolomiti Superski: all cablecars, chairlifts and gondolas are included in one pass with access to the Sellaronda, too.
|
| The large skiing area of Belvedere can be reached from Alta Badia, passing through Campolongo, Arabba and Pordoi (clockwise direction of the Sellaronda).
