Alta Badia in the heart of the Dolomites

It’s a starting point for numerous charming, easy walks along the streams that run between San Cassiano, La Villa, Badia (Pedraces), Corvara and Colfosco, near flowery meadows and woods where mushrooms are harvested seasonally, and a step away from Puez - Odle and Fanes - Sennes – Braies Nature Parks. Guided excursions include farm tours with preparation and tastings of typical Ladin cuisine. There are infinite possibilities for mountain climbers and for cyclists, the mountain passes are an Eldorado!

Alta Badia is the central area of the Badia Valley, at the base of the Gardena, Campolongo, and Falzarego Passes, therefore making it an ideal site for excursions to the Sella Group or the neighboring valleys of Gardena, Fassa, Arabba, Cortina and Pusteria.

From Alta Badia, one can easily visit the historic towns of Brunico (30 km), Bressanone (64km) and Bolzano (70km using the Gardena Pass), or perhaps the beautiful lakes of Fedaia (45km), Misurina (55km), Braies (70km), Anterselva (65km) and Caldaro (100km through the Gardena Valley).

Venice is 195km away from Alta Badia, only a 2.5 hour drive.
